“If you accept the most basic laws of science... If space is infinite, then there are tons of you’s out there, and tons of me’s.”
“And so this is just the sad version of us.”
Becca and Howie Corbett are a young married couple with a picture-perfect life in the suburbs of New York- until a random, tragic accident takes the life of Danny, their four-year-old son. Eight months later, their marriage is growing distant, and Becca’s irresponsible younger sister, Izzy, announces that she is pregnant: there will now be a new child in the family.
Balancing elements of hilarity and sci-fi with pathos and vivid emotion, Rabbit Hole is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play that delves into the complexity of a family thrown into flux and navigating the depths of grief and learning what it means to have hope when things seem to have fallen apart.
